Dr. Erin O’Brien is Professor of Political Science, University of Massachusetts at Boston.
The “liberal hotbed” of Massachusetts ranks near the bottom of the fifty states when it comes to how easy it is for citizens to legally cast a ballot. This talk will examine the state of voter access in the Bay State, the socioeconomic and racial bias in voter turnout, as well as the legislative action which could alter this state of affairs.
This talk will be held in Room 103, Harvard Hall, on the Harvard University campus.
