An elected Board of Trustees has carried responsibility for the Community's finances, programs, and public positions. Members have chosen the board each year, and the board has answered to the membership for its decisions.

Committees and work
The Community's public record refers to a grant committee, program planning, and the ordinary administrative work of a small nonprofit. The grant committee reviewed proposals, visited applicants, and recommended awards. Program planning brought speakers and musicians into the Sunday series.
