Although Massachusetts became the 18th state in the nation to enact a medical marijuana program two years ago, patients in the Commonwealth remain unable to gain legal access to pot, as no dispensaries have yet opened for business.
As we welcome in the New Year, and the first license to grow has been granted to the dispensary ATG, Inc. in Salem, many here in the state feel the Massachusetts Medical Marijuana Initiative of 2012 has been squandered by officials sitting on their hands and preventing access for far too long. Legalization in 2016 has begun to look like a last resort for people wanting to stop the wasted war on marijuana, cannabis, hemp and getting high.
In this departure from our usual format, presents a panel discussion on medical marijuana.

- Bill Downing – Treasurer of MassCann/NORML & Bay State Repeal
- Nichole Snow – Deputy Director Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance (MPAA)
- Laws TwentyFour – Director of Cultivation and Product Development at Sensational Kind Buds
- Elin Trinidad – Founder and President of Methodology Extracts
- Uma V.A. Dhanabalan, MD, MPH, FAAFP, MRO – Doctor at Uplifting Health & Wellness
